Christ’s peace be with you all!

Thank you for the warm welcome I have received from all of you as I take up the mantle of Pastor at St. Mark. I am honored by the faith that Bp. Duca has expressed in me by making this appointment. For those who do not know me, I was ordained a priest of the Diocese of Baton Rouge in 2023, and until August of this year I have served as the Parochial Vicar of Immaculate Conception in Denham Springs, LA. As a parish, we can all be thankful to that community for forming me as a priest of Jesus Christ for those two years, so that with the help and guidance of the Holy Spirit, I may be able to lead and shepherd St. Marks well. I am a Gonzales native, and so it is humbling and honoring to be able to come back and serve this community.
